Andy Roddick has withdrawn from the year end Masters Cup with a sprained ankle he sustained in practice. Roddick thought there might be a chance for him to play, but during his pre-match warm up he was unable to move well enough to compete. Roddick is replaced by #26 Radek Stepanek.
